Two years ago, Megawatt mutated into the most successful dialect hard rock band in the country with their debut album within a few months. Her hit “Loieherz” was also the official goal anthem of the Swiss ice hockey team at the World Cup in Latvia in 2021.
Now the musicians from eastern Switzerland are presenting their second record with “Felsafescht” – and they should also land at number one in the hit parade! “We are most pleased that we can now go on tour once more,” says frontman Thomas Graf (46) and enthuses: “We have the greatest fans in the world!”
To honor their followers, Megawatt have immortalized more than 1500 photos of encounters with them on the cover of their new album. “I can’t wait to see as many of them as possible at the upcoming concerts,” said the enthusiastic singer. It starts this Friday with a home game in Landquart GR.
