The planned meeting between the General Chair of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri and the General Chair of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto, has not yet come to light. The meeting is still looking for a suitable place and time.
“The date issue, the location issue is also still being determined. Because each of them matches the other,” said Gerindra Party DPP Daily Chair Sufmi Dasco Ahmad at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, today.
Dasco said communication was still ongoing. On the other hand, the Deputy Speaker of the DPR joked that only food had been determined. However, he did not reveal the menu. “What is certain is that food has been determined, that’s all,” said Dasco.
Previously, Prabowo talked about plans to meet with Megawati. Prabowo hopes that the meeting can take place. “God willing, hopefully,” said Prabowo at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, September 25 2024.
PDIP DPP Chair Puan Maharani also admitted that she had met Prabowo. The meeting was about Prabowo’s plans to meet with Megawati.
