Another young person “disappeared” on the asphalt, and this time a 21-year-old on the Old Athens-Corinth National Highway, at the height of the poultry farms, in Pachi Megaron.
The young man was particularly well-known in Megara but also in the whole of Western Attica, since he was a football player in the Euclid Megara club, according to information.
The vehicle veered off course under so far unspecified circumstances and crashed heavily into a wall. The car driven by the victim was found this morning on the Old Athens-Corinth National Highway, while the accident may have happened much earlier.
An investigation and preliminary investigation is being carried out by the relevant Traffic Department for the tragic incident.

**Interview with Community Engagement Expert, Sarah Thompson**
**Editor:** Welcome, Sarah! Thank you for joining us today. The role of local news in community engagement has shifted dramatically over the years. What do you think is the primary challenge local news outlets face today?
**Sarah Thompson:** Thank you for having me! The primary challenge is adapting to the digital landscape while maintaining local relevance. Many outlets struggle with dwindling print subscriptions and need to find innovative ways to engage audiences online.
**Editor:** That’s a significant point. In your opinion, what strategies can local news organizations implement to better connect with their communities?
**Sarah Thompson:** I believe that collaboration is key. Local news should partner with community organizations and leverage social media to share stories. Engaging readers through interactive content—like polls or community forums—can also create a sense of belonging and investment in local news.
**Editor:** Interesting! Can you share an example of a successful local news initiative that fosters community engagement?
**Sarah Thompson:** Certainly! In a recent project in a small town, a local news outlet launched a series called “Community Voices,” where residents could submit their stories and perspectives on local issues. This not only increased engagement but also provided fresh, diverse content that resonated with the audience.
**Editor:** That sounds like a great way to empower the community. What advice would you give journalists working in local news to improve their impact?
**Sarah Thompson:** I would advise them to listen to their community. Surveys and feedback can guide content creation. Emphasizing transparency about the news process and being present at community events can also help build trust and strengthen those essential connections.
**Editor:** Thank you, Sarah! Your insights into community engagement in local news are invaluable, and we appreciate you taking the time to speak with us today.
