On Saturday night in commune 9 of Buenos Aires, a joint mega-operation between the Metropolitan Police, the Army and various District secretariats, addressed several problems in the area.
Focusing on the Tram area, measures were taken to counter problems such as:
Bad parking, the invasion of the exclusive lane and the regulation of commercial establishments.
This is in order to guarantee compliance with regulations, control noise and prevent the exploitation of minors.

This operation responds to repeated requests from residents and is in line with a strategic plan to revitalize public space and combat crime.
As a result of the operation, four closed commercial premises were recorded.

And a sum of 50 motorcycles and two vehicles that the authorities immobilized.
In addition, knives and drugs were seized in the midst of public order actions.
An awareness campaign was also carried out aimed at informal vendors on the appropriate use of public space.

These efforts are not isolated; During the first months of government, more than 10 mega operations have been carried out in areas such as Las Palmas, 4 Sur, Parque Lleras, 92 and Downtown Medellín, among others.
