The Córdoba Police deployed a new saturation operation this Thursday, this time in the western part of the Capital, days following the multiple raids that ended with 31 detainees and various kidnappings in the south of the city.
As reported by the Police, the operation includes the participation of some 400 troops, with the collaboration of the National Gendarmerie and the Anti-Drug Police Force.
The Air Patrol also works, with the overflight of the police helicopter.
Although details of specific procedures were not disclosed, it was indicated that numerous search warrants are carried out as a result of different crimes that have occurred in recent days.
One of the operations was implemented in the Villa La Tela neighborhood, where the Police confirmed the kidnapping of at least five motorcycles.
In the middle of the proceedings, neighbors threw stones at mobile phones and one of the officers was injured.
The mega-operative in the south of Capital
A few days ago, almost 400 members of the Córdoba Police carried out multiple raids in the southern area of the Capital, as a result of robberies and urban violence.
In total, 31 people were arrested and 12 motorcycles were kidnapped (nine for violation of the code and three stolen), a stolen car, 62 tires, auto parts, and electrical appliances.
In addition, 102 cannabis sativa plants, 13 cocaine wrappers, six pills, bladed weapons and money were seized.
