The President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, will be visiting Colombia this Wednesday 24 August, where he will hold a bilateral agenda with his counterpart Gustavo Petro and attend various events.
According to the schedule, released by the Iberian Presidency, Sánchez’s day will begin at 9:30 am, with his participation in the closing of the Business Meeting Spain – Colombiawhich will also be attended by the Ministers of Industry and Tourism of both nations.
He will then be received by Petro at the Casa de Nariño, where military honors will be paid to him. This part of the visit includes meetings between the leaders and their delegations, to then give a statement to the press at noon.
After a working lunch, Sánchez will visit the Memory, Peace and Reconciliation Center, where he will attend a peace event and receive a copy of the Report of the Truth Commissionfrom the hands of Father Francisco de Roux.
At the end of the followingnoon, the politician will meet with the Spanish colony at the residence of his country’s ambassador in Bogotá.
