Meeting of the politician of Achaia ND Andreas Tsokos with the Deputy Minister of Citizen Protection Andreas Nikolakopoulos – 2024-07-20 07:04:10

Andreas Nikolakopoulos, the politician from Achaia with the New Democracy, Andreas Tsokos, met with the Deputy Minister of Citizen Protection and Member of Parliament for ND Ilia, Andreas Nikolakopoulos.

The purpose of their discussion is cooperation for the protection of citizens in Achaia, the prevention and suppression of crime, but also for special issues, such as the social phenomenon of domestic violence. In particular, the Hellenic Police is implementing a plan of special targeted actions with three main directions, to prevent, deter and deal with crime, domestic violence and juvenile delinquency, as well as improving citizens’ road safety.

The Greek Police deals with a very large number of incidents, in direct relation to the needs of our society. It is recalled that, with the initiatives of the government, in the region of each Police Directorate throughout the territory, specially designed areas that function as “safe houses” have been secured, for the safe accommodation of women victims of domestic violence, as well as their minor children, when needed protection.

In this regard, Andreas Tsokos, politician from Achaia with the New Democracy, states: “Security is a priority and the protection of citizens on a daily basis is the government’s highest concern.

The government continues its daily and unceasing effort in the field of dealing with serious social phenomena, with the aim of further strengthening the climate of security in our society.
