A Starfield fan under the nickname NikoMueller completed the title, in addition to the main playthrough, 33 times in the New Game+ mode. After that, he decided to go on another journey, where he met an unusual NPC – himself. The gamer shared his story on Twitter. The new passage in Starfield is explained by the fact that the player goes to an alternative universe. It is similar to the main line from the first playthrough, but some details are different. At the 34th race, NikoMueller met his own character from the very first gaming session – his hero was handing over an artifact to the Constellation community. After this, the gamer was able to communicate with himself, learn about the past and the plot of the first playthrough, and even invite himself to the group. Other NPCs also reacted to the appearance of the double and inquired about the connection between the heroes. Starfield was released on September 6 on PC and Xbox Series X/S. The title showed the fifth best start among games in Europe for 2023, but after two weeks, retail sales figures decreased significantly. After release, the game’s rating dropped to “mixed”.
