In order to find possible solutions for the continuity of educational activities at the Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar (UCAD), the Rector of the said temple of knowledge met a delegation led by the Dean of the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences (FLSH).
The Rector of the Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar met this Wednesday, November 22, 2023, a delegation from the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences FLSH, led by the Dean, Professor Alioune Badara Kandji.

This meeting is part of the initiatives for the continuity of educational activities. The Rector, the Dean of the FLSH and the heads of department discussed a resumption to finalize the second semester.
Possible solutions have been proposed and will be submitted to the faculty assembly.

Closed since the events of last June, Cheikh Anta Diop University (Ucad) has still not opened its doors. Faced with the specter of a blank year which increasingly hangs over this temple of knowledge, the Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, Moussa Baldé, last weekend, on the sidelines of the ceremony of delivery of parchments to Bachelor and Master graduates of classes 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7, from the Open Digital Space (Eno) of Mbour, declared that a blank year at Ucad is not yet possible .
