Javier Martínez and Virginia Torres are the Vox candidates for Congress for Burgos. Martínez repeats as number one in the candidacy for the Lower House. In the 2019 general elections, he already held this position. His partner, Virginia Torres, was already part of Vox’s candidacy for Burgos City Council. Although she did not manage to become part of the municipal corporation.
Martínez is a veteran at Vox in Burgos. He has been provincial secretary of the formation of Santiago Abascal. He works in a Burgos company and is the provincial secretary of the SOI union (Federation of Catholic Unions-Independent Workers Union). In addition, in this last municipal mandate he has participated as a neighbor councilor in the Water service.
Virginia Torres was ranked number 6 on the Vox list for the Burgos City Council in the 28M municipal elections. The formation only achieved four councilors, so it did not become part of the municipal corporation. On the other hand, she Torres was a councilor for the Popular Party in the term in which the ‘popular’ mayor Bienvenido Nieto died.
In addition, he was working in the PP cabinet in the Provincial Council. She is currently dedicated to marketing and communication tasks, she has a degree in Audiovisual Communication, in a Burgos company.
