The official portraits of the 30 regional Miss candidates for the Miss France 2024 election have been revealed. Discover their faces, among which is the young woman who will succeed Indira Ampiot.
This is one of the traditional stages that mark the Miss France competition: the revelation of the official portraits of each of the candidates. TF1 unveiled this Friday those of the next edition: we discover the faces of the 30 regional Misses competing to win the title of Miss France 2024.
All hope to succeed Indira Ampiot, Miss France 2023, crowned last December 17 in the suburbs of Châteauroux (Indre). This year, the election will take place on December 16 Zénith de Dijon (Côte-d’Or). Discover below the 30 new candidates for the title of most beautiful woman in France, as well as some information on their profile by dragging the mouse.
The youngest candidates are 18 years old and the oldest of this edition – Elena Faliez, Miss Île-de-France – is 28. Her participation is due to a recent change in the selection criteria: the age limit set at 25 years old was lifted. Likewise, the competition is now open to married women and mothers.
Many modifications
This 2024 edition will be the first to take place under the supervision of Cindy Fabre, new director of the competition. She takes over from Sylvie Tellier, who took on this responsibility for around fifteen years.
But the latter will not be far away: as reported Tele-Leisure, she remains the honorary president and will serve as president of the jury; the other members of the panel have not yet been announced. She will succeed Francis Huster, who took on this role last year.
The weekly also reports that Alexia Laroche-Joubert will leave her position as president of Miss France the day following the election, to give way to Frédéric Gilbert. On the animation side, Jean-Pierre Foucault will be back on track. And the theme of the year has been revealed: it will be The Miss Music Box.
In addition, this will be the first edition of the competition since the death of Geneviève de Fontenay, which occurred last August at the age of 90. The “lady in the hat” ruled it with an iron fist from 1981 to 2010. A tribute will be paid during the evening to this figure inseparable from the election.
