Human Warriors tells the story of an African superhero. Muntu hates fiction as well as superheroes, but he will, in spite of himself, save a world that he himself has endangered.
« The idea of Muntu Warriors is not only the representation, but also the discovery, explains Junior Beckley, the author of the comic. Because in African culture, there are a lot of legends, tales, customs and stories to tell, and I would like – as a former video game designer – to use all my knowledge and all my experience in order to to highlight it and allow all generations of all ethnic groups to discover the codes and mores of African culture. »
Muntu Warriors combines quality illustrations and a deep story in a fantasy world inspired by black culture from Africa, America, Europe and the Caribbean.
