Meena | Actress Meena’s husband Vidyasagar dies

Chennai: Actress Meena’s husband Vidyasagar has passed away. He was undergoing treatment for post-coital health problems. She had been in treatment for lung diseases for a few years. The disease worsened following Kovid’s infection last January.

He was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai a few days ago following a lung infection. Doctors recommended a lung transplant as the infection worsened, but it was too late to get an organ donor.

Life was maintained with the help of a ventilator. But by Tuesday evening, the situation was deteriorating. Meena and Vidyasagar got married in 2009. Vidyasagar is a businessman from Bangalore.

Their daughter Nainika is also an actress. Nainika had a notable role in South India with the Vijay film Theri. Prominent personalities have expressed their condolences on the demise of Vidyasagar.
