Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev describes the American version of the Nord Stream bombing as implausible propaganda.
On Thursday, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev described the narrative that the Nord Stream bombing was carried out by a pro-Ukrainian group as “stupid American propaganda”.
Medvedev wrote on his channel in “Telegram” that the team and the camera are “very bad, and the scenario is boring,” adding that the last novel is “stupid American propaganda, which no one likes, even the Europeans who were poisoned by it do not believe it.”
Earlier, the New York Times reported that the party responsible for blowing up the Nord Stream pipelines was a pro-Ukrainian group.
And Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova announced that the leaks in the Western media regarding the attacks on “Nord Stream” are carried out by “those who do not want to conduct a legal investigation and plan to divert public attention from the facts.”
And she stressed that the Western regimes involved in the incident must respond to the official requests of the Russian side, and take into account the investigation of American journalist Seymour Hersh.
It is noteworthy that Hersh published an article on his investigation into gas pipeline explosions, in which he said that during the “Baltops” maneuvers conducted by NATO in the summer of 2022, American divers installed explosives under the gas pipelines. Then, the Norwegians activated it 3 months later.
Russia subsequently called for an international investigation into the gas pipeline explosions, and requested a meeting of the UN Security Council on February 22 regarding the new information regarding the explosions.
On September 26, 2022, attacks took place simultaneously on two pipelines exporting Russian gas to Europe.
