Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, called the hacking of his account on the social network VKontakte a “manifestation of the information war”. Earlier, a provocative post appeared on his page in which it was said that “Northern Kazakhstan is an artificial state.”
“This is a manifestation of the information war, but it will not be possible to quarrel Russia with friends from the CIS, and the perpetrators will not go unpunished. There are enough enemy countries interested in head-on collision of allies in the CSTO, the EAEU and the SCO, but we will not give them such pleasure, ”Medvedev said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
Earlier on Medvedev’s personal page “VKontakte” there was a post for a while, in which, on behalf of the politician, it was said that Russia was “ready to recreate the USSR”, and the CIS countries were “artificial states”. The post was promptly deleted, following which Medvedev’s aides reported that his account had been hacked.
