It’s all for show!” was heard in the original footage, but was cut out of the edited version. Putin’s visit to the annexed Mariupol on the night of March 18 was reported by the press service of the President of the Russian Federation, with Dmitry Peskov claiming that the trip was spontaneous. During the visit, Putin visited the new Nevsky microdistrict, where a local resident said, “This is a small piece of paradise we have here” and “We are praying for you.” However, a woman’s scream was also heard in the video, but it’s unclear exactly what she shouted. Journalists noted that the microdistrict is “virtually the only one rebuilt” in the ruined city.
