After being closed for several months in winter, the Château-Gaillard reopened to the public on Saturday April 1, 2023.
The first animation is already pointing the tip of its nose since it will take place on the weekend of Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 April 2023.
Templar life
The tourism office New Normandy will offer a two-day medieval camp in Les Andelys (Your). The old fortress erected by Richard Lion’s Heart will host the historical company “The Baussanne Flame”.

They will assist in the preparation of meals with wrought iron or wooden utensils.
