Medicine students will be able to carry out international exchange thanks to the agreement with the IFMSA association

Thanks to the agreement with the Association of Medical Students for International Cooperation IFMSA of Spain, students from the University of Caldas and Spanish universities will be able to carry out international exchanges for academic stays for one month in the country of their choice.

This is the case of the Spanish student at the University of Valencia María Bahamonde Fernández, who chose to spend her stay at the University of Caldas from the Electrical Bioimpedance research group of the Faculty of Health Sciences.

During her stay, Bahamonde will work with students from the institution on the research project “Evaluation of changes in electrical bioimpedance during pelvic floor contraction in women.”

Students of the Medicine program through IFMSA, will be able to manage exchange programs in national and international universities, which will allow them to stay for a period of one month in the institution of their choice, as long as it is affiliated with the association.

This agreement allows young people to acquire a global vision of the world of health, strengthening educational and research processes, essential for their academic training.
