The function of adding your medicines and tracking their use has been available on Apple devices since iOS 16 and watchOS 9. This year, with the iOS/iPadOS 17 and the watchOS 10Apple is allowing you to receive follow-up alerts e critical alerts.
In the case of follow-up alerts, you will receive reminders if the medication has not been recorded 30 minutes following the scheduled time. Critical alerts appear on the iPhone’s locked screen and play a notification sound even in cases where Focus mode is activated or the cell phone is in silent mode — following all, the medicine is critical.
See how to activate them! ????
Open the Health app (Health) on iPhone/iPad and tap the “Explore” tab. Then, go to “Medicines” and “Options” at the bottom of the screen.
Activate “Follow-up Reminders” and, below, tap “Critical Alerts”. Choose which medications you want to receive this warning and, if this is your first time doing this, select “Allow” so that the iPhone/iPad can send this type of notification.
Do you usually monitor your medications using Apple devices? ????
