Medical Workers in Russia to Receive Increased Social Benefits for Special Operation Participation

Social benefits will be extended for medical workers who help participants in the special operation. Thus, for the heads of medical organizations, the maximum payment amount will be 100 thousand rubles. And deputy heads of organizations and chief nurses will receive up to 60 thousand rubles. The Russian government reports this.

“The maximum amount of payments will be 100 thousand rubles per month: for heads of medical organizations, heads of surgical departments,” the government writes in its telegram channel. The same amount of payments will be awarded to senior doctors, emergency and ambulance doctors and some other categories of health workers.

In addition, payments of up to 60 thousand rubles per month can be received by chief nurses, doctors, deputy heads of medical organizations and other categories of physicians. Payments of up to 40 thousand rubles will be received by specialists with secondary vocational medical education working in ambulance teams and participating in surgical operations. For junior health workers who provide care in hospitals, the maximum payment amount will be 20 thousand rubles per month. The specific amount of payment will depend on the total time worked and the position of the employee. At the same time, regional ministries of health will establish a list of organizations whose health workers will receive social payments.

It was previously reported that military pensioners are members of the SVO will receive full pension compensation taking into account indexing. It is noted that payments will be made automatically. Those who were mobilized from September 21, 2022 or signed a contract from February 24, 2022 are subject to the decree of the head of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
