When questioned why the students of the medical school do not go to carry out their internships at the entity’s hospitals, Peña González explained: “I want to think that it is because of the pandemic that they cannot do the internships, not so much that they cannot do them, I want to think that it is because of the health emergency ».
When asked the rector of the UAN if it was the hospitals that did not allow medical students to go to internships, Ignacio Peña replied: “I have no information, I will check it and if so, we will speak with the directors of the hospitals to find out. agree on that.”
Finally, the rector of the UAN referred that medical students can be infected with COVID-19 anywhere in the city and not just in a hospital: “I think it is like everywhere, but when entering hospitals They would take all the sanitary measures to reduce the risk of contagion.”
