Students from the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of the State of Morelos (UAEM), closed the Chamilpa Campus in demand for places to carry out their internship once they are regarding to graduate. They do not allow access to students only to workers.
Daniela Mejía, a student at the faculty, accused that they were promised 130 places to be assigned in hospitals, and they have been told that there will only be 100, so around 80 students will be left out.
“It is worrying because they are going to join those who are going to graduate next semester, so we will no longer be 80 but more than 180”They requested an audience with the director of the faculty Vera Petricovich, whom they accuse of mismanagement due to the lack of spaces.
They said they were not willing to go to other states, as they represent extraordinary expenses, staying like this would delay their training.
