Medical staff ‘raised’ are doing well

Parral.- Regarding the events recorded on the followingnoon-night of Thursday, September 22, the South Zone District Prosecutor’s Office reported the following:

A mixed cell made up of the Mexican Army, National Guard, the State Investigation Agency and the State Security Commission, was deployed between the municipality of San Francisco del Oro and Parral to attend to what happened.

At 6:00 p.m., the report of a person killed by a firearm was attended to, at kilometer 16 of the Parral-Santa Bárbara highway. The Victim was identified as Dorian EG, 36 years old, domiciled in Guadalupe y Calvo. The incident occurred regarding 200 meters from a sawmill.

At approximately 6:10 p.m., a report was received of an alleged arrival of armed civilians at the San Francisco del Oro Health Center, where they demanded medical attention for a person injured by a firearm.

Faced with an alleged refusal by the staff, due to the person’s health conditions, the civilians caused destruction in the place, and then put the injured person in an ambulance, causing the doctor who was on duty at that time to get up, as well as an ambulance operator, to transport the injured person to another hospital.

However, a short distance from the Health Center, the ambulance suffered a mechanical problem, and the armed civilians finally left, taking the wounded man with them. While the doctor and ambulance driver stayed in that place.

Both employees of the Health Center underwent medical examinations, without showing any symptoms of violence. In addition to that they refused to file a complaint for what happened.

Finally, at 12:00 at night, on Venustiano Carranza street, near a funeral home in the city of Parral, the body of a person killed by a firearm was reported. Said person is male, between 30 and 40 years old, who has not been identified.

No ballistic elements were found at the scene. The body was transferred to the amphitheater for the necropsy of law and proceed to its identification.
