Griselda Paredes is a native of Caleta Olivia, she graduated as a doctor from the National University of Córdoba and following four years of completing a residency in the specialty of Pediatrics at the Zonal Hospital in this same city, she received her diploma on Monday.
The collation of the new specialist’s degree was held at noon this Monday in the hospital’s auditorium with the presence of Deputy Governor Eugenio Quiroga; the Secretary of Patient Safety of the Ministry of Health, Javier Flores, and the General Director of the local Hospital, Gerardo Romaní, as well as other officials from the health portfolio, members of the training teams, colleagues, and relatives of the new specialist.
Dr. Flores praised the effort made by Griselda, emphasizing that she chose to carry out her profession in this same hospital, but also said that this is highly valuable because in the course of recent years and due to various circumstances, the number of doctors who attend various residences.
In turn, Dr. Romaní predicted success in the new work stage and highlighted the great human factor that characterizes it, stating that this is something essential for those who practice medicine.
He also mentioned that apart from the state-of-the-art technology that is being incorporated, great importance is given to training in this hospital, and all this in order to strengthen the sense of belonging.
Dr. Paredes received the diploma from the head of the Teaching area, Carolina Dagnino, while Lieutenant Governor Quiroga presented her with a commemorative plaque (photo).
