MediaTek refutes accusations that the Dimensity 9300 is excessively limiting performance

This latest generation of chips will indeed heat up and lose efficiency in benchmark tests, just look at how high the core clocks have been on both the 8g3 and 9300 chips.

This time there was a lack of low frequency cores for simple tasks, which correspond to the majority of the user’s daily tasks. Qualcomm reduced the efficiency cores of the 8g3 to 2 cortex A520 clocked at 2.26ghz, and placed 5 A720 clocked at 2.96ghz. MediaTek abolished the efficiency cores, and placed 4 A720 with a maximum frequency of 2ghz, underutilizing them, and 4 X4 starting at 2.85ghz.

We now have to wait for the real usage tests, which are: watching a few hours of streaming, playing Genshin Impact and/or other games for a few hours, recording videos in 8k/4k, intense use of social networks, GPS, etc. You have to see if it gets too hot during normal tasks. If it doesn’t get hot during normal use, that’s fine.
