The board of Trøndelag Ap sits on Monday evening in an extraordinary board meeting that began at 5.30 p.m., experiences both TV 2 and VG.
– We will have a meeting about organizational matters, said leader of Trøndelag Ap, Ingvild Kjerkol, to NRK before the meeting. She will not say anything more about what will come up at the meeting.
– We are a membership organisation, that is the reason why we do not share much with the public when it comes to members and union representatives. It also has a right to have its privacy rights safeguarded, she points out.
The investigation, which is likely to be discussed at the meeting, will answer whether party rules have been broken when it comes to moving members from Nidaros Sosialdemokratisk Forum to other teams in Trøndelag.
The local team, led by Trond Giske, has experienced great membership growth in recent years. That is why it has attracted attention that many members have announced a transfer to other local teams in Trøndelag.
On 29 October, Adresseavisen wrote that this should be investigated. The party office has now collected over 100 pages of feedback and messages of concern. This is probably what will be discussed on Monday afternoon.
To VG, party secretary Kjersti Stenseng denies that they are involved in the investigation and that the matter is handled by the county team.
