Food products may disappear in Polish stores due to high gas prices. The agency writes “Prime” with reference to the newspaper Wiadomości.

The publication states that some enterprises related to the food industry have suspended their activities in the country, and many are on the verge of closing. Grupa Azoty announced the cessation of the production of fertilizers and components for the creation of plastics, and the chemical plants that are part of the Capital group reduced their ammonia production by 10%.

The newspaper reports that there is a shortage of raw materials in the Polish food industry, so meat, dairy products and other goods may disappear in the country in two or three weeks.
