Media: H&M leaves Belarus

The Swedish clothing company H&M is wrapping up its business in Belarus, stores will open to sell off leftovers. This is reported by the Belarusian edition Onliner with reference to the press service of the company.

H&M stores in Belarus closed in early March. At first, the company wanted to open them for sale in August. The day before, employees announced a new date – September 19.

“We will temporarily reopen our three stores to sell the remaining items and keep them open for a limited period of time,” a company spokesperson told Onliner.

In Russia, H&M stores suspended work at the end of March. On July 18, the trading network announced the decision to close its business in the Russian Federation. However, later several outlets in Moscow and St. Petersburg opened up to sell off the leftovers.
