At the National Park Days on the Ostzingst (Western Pomerania-Rügen district), nature lovers, locals and visitors will once again have the opportunity to explore the Western Pomerania Lagoon Landscape National Park. The aim is to increase awareness of nature conservation and to present the unique flora and fauna of the national park, says Nina Hesse, spokeswoman for Kur- und Tourismus GmbH Zingst. More than 40 program items are planned for both days. These include exclusive hikes to the northern beach, to watch the cranes at Pramort, to see the deer on the Baltic Sea or to the bird sanctuary of Kirr. Cycling and canoe tours are also on the agenda, as are films and a regional market at the Sundische Wiese castle.
