So far, no conclusive results have been issued regarding the extent of the infection, with the exception of preliminary results that the Ministry of Public Health is waiting to build on. However, this did not prevent the intensification of follow-up meetings in recent times, the last of which was yesterday, mainly aimed at how to work to activate the course of confrontation, especially with regard to returning the immunization program to its normal track.
Developments did not come from outside expectations, according to Dr. Bernard Gerbaka, head of the Vaccination Advisory Committee in Lebanon and a pediatrician, “everything was expected,” following a long and forced break in the vaccination program, which was supposed to be routine.
