Experts from the Institute of Global Health in Barcelona wanted to recall that in the evening the metabolism is supposed to work less by slowing down its functioning and eating late makes it speed up once more, reports Yahoo.com. This bad habit disrupts the body’s internal clock. The authors of this study found that sleeping two hours or more following the evening meal reduces the risk of cancer by 20%. At the same time, going to bed less than two hours following eating in the evening increased their risk of cancer of 25%.
