McIntosh is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, and to mark the occasion the American audio brand has unveiled a power amplifier that it claims is one of the most powerful amplifiers available today.
The new monoblock power amplifier, MC2.1KW, comes with a three-mount construction. and has a price of up to $50,000 or approximately 1,800,000 baht with a power output of up to 2000 watts, which McIntosh intends to be “A new standard for premium amplifiers”
The McIntosh power amplifier is a three-cradle design: the audio circuitry is separated between two enclosures. while the third box The one with the blue meter (the one with the blue meter) houses the RCA single-end signal input and XLR balanced inputs, as well as the speaker output terminals.
The output connector for multiple loudspeakers is not for tri-wire use. Instead, it is separated into 2 ohm, 4 ohm, and 8 ohm impedances so that speakers can be plugged into the most matching impedance value for the speaker.
Designed as a successor to the 2005 MC2KW monoblock amplifier, this powerful new monoblock amp offers a real upgrade in sound.
From a high capacity power supply design to better low end frequency performance and improved dynamic headroom. while four McIntosh heat sinks are custom-made for each amplifier module. This ensures efficient cooling for consistently good sound quality, no matter how much power is required.
A further improved circuit design with upgraded modern components and a shorter signal path allows for better sound quality. The power and signal connection cables for the MC2.1KW have also been improved.
The McIntosh MC2.1KW uses a stainless steel chassis with a high-gloss mirror finish. Coupled with a striking metal frame, it is considered a “visual masterpiece” with a black glass front panel. glowing logo and a stylish aluminum handle There’s even a beautiful, unique blue wattmeter that gives the McIntosh its classic, beautiful look.
As the MC2.1KW celebrates McIntosh’s 75th anniversary in business, the first 75 units will be available in 2024 in each country. There will also be a special anniversary logo with the words “75 Years” engraved on the front handle. And there is a special logo stamped on the top of the machine.
