The two men claim to have “already several ideas” including one that seduces them “a lot”. “But for that, you have to know how to say stop for a while and devote yourself to it,” they said.
In an Instagram post published this Saturday evening, Youtuber McFly indicated that he had decided, with his sidekick Carlito, to “take a break from Youtube videos”.
“It has been several months since the race for hyper-produced videos, for guests, for concepts, which we have loved and practiced so much, no longer has the same taste because it has become the norm”, he writes.
“Several ideas” of projects
“This frantic race is all the more tiring because it is no longer unprecedented or new, he continues. Add to this the birth of Raphaël and Érika’s third child, this period is more than necessary to take a step back, to re-invent and rediscover the pure pleasure of creating content with friends more simply.”
The latter emphasizes having “already several ideas” including one that seduces them “a lot”. “But for that, you have to know how to say stop for a while and devote yourself to it,” he concluded.
A video with Emmanuel Macron
The two Youtubers, who have more than 7.2 million subscribers on social networks, recently made an impression in a 36 minute long video with Emmanuel Macron. Filmed in the presidential palace, the video already recorded more than 10.2 million views in two days. It now exceeds 18 million.
A well-oiled communication operation which did not hesitate to bring one of the idols of young people, footballer Kylian Mbappé, on stage.
McFly and Carlito then admitted that they had “a lot of questions” but said they were delighted with the result, despite the criticism they had faced at the time.
