A new burger will appear in McDonald’s restaurants across Canada starting March 7, the company announced in a press release Thursday.

It is a Big Mac type chicken burger, a product particularly in demand by the public, assures the company.
Chicken Big Mac will taste like Big Mac, a McDo classic.
“We know Canadians have been trying to create Chicken Big Mac for years, waiting to get their hands on the original,” said Alyssa Buetikofer, Chief Marketing Officer, McDonald’s Canada. The Big Mac Chicken has FINALLY arrived! But it is only offered for a limited time; so treat yourself without delay.”
The Chicken Big Mac will consist of its classic toppings: Big Mac sauce, lettuce, melted cheddar, and tangy pickles.
The burger will contain two portions of chicken coated in a crispy breading.
Nearly 1 million people visit a McDonald’s restaurant in Canada every day. Nearly 100,000 people work at McDonald’s across the country, in franchise restaurants and company restaurants.
The company also supports
sourcing more than 85% from Canadian suppliers.
