Broadcaster MC Ding-dong (43, Yong-woon Heo) was caught driving under the influence of alcohol and was caught by the police while running away.

Seoul Jongam Police Station booked MC Ding-dong early on the 18th on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act (drunk driving) and obstructing the execution of official duties.

According to the police, MC Ding Dong was caught driving under the influence at 9:30 pm on the 17th, but he fled. He was also hit by a police car in the process.

The police arrested MC Ding Dong at around 2 am that day, regarding 4 hours later. It is known that his blood alcohol level at the time was at the level of license revocation (0.08% or more). The police sent MC Ding-dong home following a breathalyzer test, and plans to call once more soon to investigate.
