Several Jefferson City area teams appeared in the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association’s final rankings for the 2022–23 high school basketball season.
The Tipton Lady Cardinals were No. 1 in Class 2 following their state championship.
Also appearing in the Final Four were the St. Elizabeth Hornets, who finished No. 2 in Class 1; the Jefferson City Jays, who finished No. 3 in Class 5; and the Southern Boone Lady Eagles, who finished No. 4 in Class 4.
The Jefferson City Lady Jays and Helias Lady Crusaders finished No. 6 and No. 7 in Class 5, respectively.
The St. Elizabeth Lady Hornets finished 10th in Class 1.
Fatima and California in the class 4 girl’s poll, Eugene in the class 2 boy’s poll, and Iberia in the class 2 girl’s poll received votes outside the top 10.
