PSG defeated Juventus 2-1 thanks to a multi-goal from Kylian Mbappe in the first leg of the 2022-2023 UCL group stage match held at the Parc des Princes in Paris, France on the 7th (Korean time).

Mbappe scored the first goal five minutes into the game.

Brazilian soccer star Neymar, who was rumored to be in conflict, raised the ball from behind the penalty area and made an exquisite pass to Mbappe, who jumped into the penalty area, and Mbappe shook the net with a non-stop shot.

Mbappe, who dismissed rumors of a quarrel with Neymar at a press conference before the match, shared the joy with his teammates, including Neymar, who ran following the goal.

In the 22nd minute of the first half, Mbappe came out once more. Mbappe, who entered the penalty area by exchanging 2-1 passes with Ashraf Hakimi, pierced the lower corner of the goal with a quick one-beat shot to complete the multi-goal.

Juventus also scored a goal in the eighth minute of the second half. After a corner kick, Weston McKenney finished the cross from the left flank with a header.

Another three minutes later, Juventus’ Doosan Vlahovic opened a cross from the right flank with a menacing header, but PSG’s keeper Donnarumma blew him away this time.

Just before the end of the game, a wedge goal was scored. Juan Cancelo’s cross from the right side of the penalty area was crossed by Hubeng Dias in front of the goal, turning the net.

Manchester City climbed to the top of the group table with three points.
