Kylian Mbappe, the French national team’s top scorer, supported his friend Ashraf Hakimi, the right back of the Moroccan national team, following the 2022 World Cup semi-final.
France had defeated Morocco with two clean goals hosted by Al-Bayt Stadium, to qualify for the dream final for the second edition in a row.
Mbappe was seen consoling Hakimi, his teammate in the French Paris Saint-Germain team, following the final whistle of the summit, and the two players exchanged shirts.
A picture of Mbappe spread on social media while he was lying on the ground next to Hakimi in the players’ exit corridor.
The owner of the number 10 shirt was keen to console his close friend through his personal account on the “Twitter” application for social communication.
Mbappe wrote, “Don’t be sad brother, everyone is proud of what you did, you made history.”
