Mayors of Central and MOPC coordinate strategic funding plan for city areas

Asunción, IP Company.- With the mayors of the Central division, the Minister of Public Works and Communications, Claudia Centurión, led a piece session this Thursday within the municipality of Guarambaré. The principle objective was to outline a strategic plan for city investments within the brief, medium and long run, with the intention of bettering the standard of lifetime of residents.

The mayors of the 19 municipalities of Central participated and the principle focus was the development of public transportation service, the technology of higher mobility circumstances and the discount of journey instances for residents. Centurión emphasised the significance of offering the next high quality of life to all residents inside the so-called “Central Plan.”

The mayors offered their precedence wants, whereas the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) introduced its upcoming tenders and ongoing initiatives. It was established that this assembly could be the primary in a collection to develop a complete four-year plan, in compliance with the request of the President of the Republic, Santiago Peña.

The mayor of Guarambaré, Óscar Cabrera, thanked the Authorities for the opening and the start of collaborative work, highlighting the significance of bettering transportation circumstances. The mayor of Luque, Carlos Echeverria, highlighted the excessive participation of all group leaders and the relevance of joint collaboration in infrastructure initiatives.

This session marked a major step in direction of the unification of efforts to enhance infrastructure and high quality of life within the division of Central.
