Eva Kreisky was born in Vienna on September 8, 1944 as Hannelore Eva Zgraja. She studied actuarial mathematics and modern computing technology at the Technical University of Vienna and studied law at the University of Vienna. In 1969 she began studying political science at the University of Vienna. In 1971 Kreski received his doctorate in law from the University of Vienna and completed his training in political science in 1987.
