Mayor of Itapúa highlighted the Government’s commitment to departmental progress

Asunción, IP Agency.- The mayor of the Itapúa district of Carlos Antonio López, Hernán Cubas, highlighted the commitment of the Executive Branch to the progress of the department of Itapúa.

Among the plans developed in the region, the communal chief highlighted the Great Hospital of the South, along with the projects installed in labor terms, pointing out that with the help and collaboration of small entrepreneurs, vital socioeconomic stability was built at the departmental level.

In addition, he highlighted the work that is managed by the Ministry of Urban Planning and Housing and Habitat, adding that the policy of access to one’s own home has helped to comprehensively respond to the most urgent needs of the Itapuenses.

He also maintained that the head of the institution, Juan Carlos Baruja, has already committed to promote more housing projects in the districts of Itapúa.

“We know that great work is also being done by the Governing Board, articulating all the duties that are designed at the national level, apart from ratifying the commitment to work for the enhanced progress in Itapúa,” said the communal chief, regarding the cooperation that is also promoted by the National Republican Association (ANR).

Government Day

The President of the Republic, Santiago Peña, held a government day in the department of Itapúa, which included the delivery of contributions in health and small producers, by the Yacyretá Binational Entity (EBY) by Gs. 3,080 million and Gs. 924 million.

The day also included the visit to the Paraguayan Institute of Agricultural Technology (IPTA)to the Regional Hospital of Encarnación, to the fair of small producers, entrepreneurs and artisans of Cambyretá, as well as the delivery of school kitscontributions from Public Health and the Agricultural Habilitation Credit.
