Mayor of Cartagena delivered a health center on the island of Barú

The Cartagena City Hall delivered a modern health center to the community of Barú, equipped with all areas of care. This work, which had been abandoned in previous administrations, was restarted and carried forward by the Mayor William Dau Chamat, thanks to the management and joint work of the District Infrastructure Secretariat, DADIS and the Comptroller’s Office.

“Upon reaching the Mayor’s Office, in 2020, we found a large number of white elephants, including abandoned health centers and hospitals. We set out to move them forward, that is why today we already have concrete results, for example, we are attending the UPA of Daniel Lemaitre, the Bayunca health center, that we inaugurated last year, and this time the turn is for the Barú health center, which we officially hand over,” said Mayor William Dau Chamat.
