Mayor Jorge Nava’s Remarkable Recovery and Heroic Return Home: Exclusive Photos and Updates

COL.-This Wednesday, January 10, at half past two, the mayor of the Miranda municipality, Jorge Nava, was discharged following being held in a clinic in Maracaibo for 16 days following having been shot several times on the Los Puertos de Altagracia Embankment, during the fair in honor of the Virgin of Altagracia.

The local president is in perfect health and was taken to his home, under strong security measures and in the middle of a caravan, balloons and the joy of the inhabitants of the Mirandina entity who welcomed him.

Mayor Jorge Nava, from the van in which he was transported, took the opportunity to greet all those present who gathered on the different avenues heading to his house.

Nava was happy, smiling and pleased to be back home, following a shooting occurred at the Terraplén Fair Complex of Los Puertos de Altagracia on December 26, where he was injured, remaining held in the city of Maracaibo for more than 15 days, while he recovered from several surgeries he underwent.
