After the failed restructuring of the community association company GemNova – the necessary increase in membership fees did not materialize at the community day – the mayor of the community, Ernst Schöpf, was interviewed on “Tirol Live” immediately followingwards.
Schöpf speaks openly regarding the fact that he is of course disappointed and that the past few months have been very difficult for him. In addition, bankruptcy might have been averted. “But a fresh start also requires new minds,” he said, explaining his withdrawal. He’s leaving the field now.
He sharply criticized the public presentation of GemNova, stressed that tears would flow there today, and was unforgiving towards his critics in the community association – especially Vice President Christian Härting. “Harting must not become president,” he said. He himself has no more energy for the job of President, of course he will remain Mayor of Sölden.
