2024-01-14 20:36:00

This Saturday, January 13, Eric Michoux, mayor of Epervans, expressed his wishes to his constituents, at the Pierre Baumann village hall.

It is in the presence of the deputy, Louis Margueritte, Raymond Burdin, departmental councilor, Annie Lombard, vice-president of Grand Chalon in charge of solidarity, his elected colleagues from the surrounding municipalities and his municipal team, that the Mayor sent his 2024 wishes.

He first wished to have a thought for the missing of this year 2023 by asking all of his guests to hold a minute of silence.

Then, Eric Michoux began his remarks with an African quote: “It takes a village to raise a child”, a proverb which punctuated his entire speech of the day.

He began by warmly thanking the two schools and all the teaching staff for their remarkable work.

The latter then spoke of the various works undertaken in 2023, the arrivals of doctors and paramedical staff who have settled in the village this year and who contribute greatly to the development of Epervans.

He thanked his entire municipal team for their work, their loyalty and their commitment to his side.

He wanted to highlight the work of the firefighters and indicated that Epervans was a candidate to be the host site for the barracks project which should be built in the near future for the municipalities of Ouroux-sur- Saône, Epervans and Saint-Marcel.

Finally, following presenting the enumerators, he indicated his support for the Epervan associations which “are the beating heart of the commune” as he likes to point out.

After giving the floor to his various guests, Eric Michoux gathered his guests around a glass of friendship and the galette des rois, as is the Epervanese tradition.
