His Excellency Adel bin Abdul Rahman Al-Assoumi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, congratulated His Excellency Al-Na’am Mayara, Chairman of the Council of Advisors in the Kingdom of Morocco, on the occasion of his election as Speaker of the Mediterranean Parliament for the period from 2023 to 2024 AD, on the sidelines of the seventeenth session of the Parliament’s General Assembly, which was hosted by the Moroccan Parliament.
The Speaker of the Arab Parliament appreciated the victory of “His Excellency Mayyara” in this important position, which is a victory for all Arabs, given that the Mediterranean Parliament is a center for regional parliamentary diplomacy. He expressed his hope to His Excellency the Chairman of the Moroccan Council of Advisors for success in his mission, and in achieving the desired goals.
Al-Asoumi praised the efforts of the Kingdom of Morocco to enhance solidarity and support joint Arab action, under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI of the Kingdom of Morocco, stressing that it is an active member in all Arab, regional and international organizations, especially the Arab Parliament, wishing the Kingdom of Morocco continued prosperity and more progress and prosperity in light of the wise leadership.
