The great artist Nabila Obeid mourned the late artist Zaki Fateen Abdel Wahab, who passed away on Sunday, at the age of 61.
And Nabila wrote, through her account on “Instagram”: “Zaki Fateen Abdel Wahab, son of the great director Fateen Abdel Wahab and the great Laila Murad.. The polite artist and dear friend. Goodbye.. God restored his honesty after suffering with a malignant disease, may God have mercy on you.”
Zaki Fateen Abdel Wahab passed away, after suffering from cancer, at the age of 61.
It is noteworthy that the late artist Zaki Fateen Abdel Wahab is the son of the artist Laila Murad and the director Fateen Abdel Wahab, and he began his artistic career in 1983 as an assistant director with Ali Badrakhan in the movie “People of the Summit”, and worked as an assistant director in many of Youssef Chahine’s films, and director of photography for American films that were filmed in Egypt.
He also worked as an assistant director in many films by director Youssef Chahine, and directed the movie “Romantica” in 1996, starring Mamdouh Abdel Alim, Lucy, Ashraf Abdel Baqi, Sherif Mounir, Alaa Wali El Din, Mukhles El Behairy, Tamim Abdo, Mohamed Lotfy.
