The May 8 commemoration benefited from great weather and brought together a good number of happy participants for this opportunity to get together. The ceremony took place according to the usual ritual in the village, namely the calling of the names of those who gave their lives for freedom with the deposit of a bouquet by the children of the village for each name called.
The reading of the official statement highlighting the price of freedom, never definitively acquired, garnered applause.
Mayor Didier Casato then invited the population to share a glass of friendship at 28 Pardi !, on the Quai de la Berre.
