Max Verstappen Dominates Bahrain Qualifying, Setting Up Exciting Race Ahead

2024-03-02 14:54:50

It’s ready: World champion Max Verstappen, last year’s Bahrain winner, will start from pole position in his Red Bull Racing RB20, like last year. Next to him: Charles Leclerc in the Ferrari, behind him George Russell in the Mercedes.

The race promises excitement, as the teams have moved much closer together in their performance over the winter, as the narrow gaps in qualifying prove. In addition to the big 3 Red Bull Racing, Ferrari and Mercedes, you also have to take into account the old fox Fernando Alonso in the Aston Martin, who qualified yesterday in sixth place on the grid with a completely different strategy than the rest.
