Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen talks about his enthusiasm for the 2022 F1 World Championship Round 1 Bahrain Grand Prix.
Last year, Max Verstappen won the first F1 World Champion by winning the fierce battle that lasted until the final lap of the final race. In the 2022 season, he will challenge the title defense with car number 1 which is a proof of the champion on RB18.
“I learned a lot from the tests in Barcelona and Bahrain, and I’m very excited to pay attention to the race now,” said Max Verstappen.
“It’s a whole new era for sports and it’s no wonder what happens. The focus is on sticking the grid together to make it easier to follow and hope to see it in the first race.”
“Everything is so new that there’s a lot of unknowns towards the first race of the season. I’m looking forward to seeing where we are in qualifying on Saturday compared to the rest of the grid.”
“The car looks good and we are in a good place as a team. The most important thing for us in Bahrain is to have a stable weekend with no problems. I want to get a lot of points.”
